Meet our Management Team
Eneko Sanz Pascual
Eneko Sanz Pascual is the General Manager of Nabrawind.
He graduated with a degree in Industrial Engineering from the Public University of Navarra, where he was recognized for having the Best Academic Record in his class (2000). At the age of just 22, while working on his Final Degree Project, he joined Gamesa Eólica (1999), where he led several blade mold projects.
In 2004, he embarked on a key project at the company—the development of the modular blade INNOBLADE, which earned him several international accolades, including the Best Patent in the History of Gamesa (2009) and the Wind Turbine Energy Innovation Award at JEC Composites (2012).
After more than 14 years at Siemens Gamesa, in 2015 he co-founded Nabrawind with three other partners.
Eneko Sola García
Eneko Sola García is the Chief Sales Officer at Nabrawind.
He graduated in Industrial Engineering from the Public University of Navarra and holds an MBA from the University of Deusto. With nearly 30 years of experience in the wind energy sector—having started in 1996 at SGRE as one of the first product engineers in the technology department—he is recognized as one of the pioneers in Spain. Throughout his career, he has participated in and led a wide range of projects and activities, including product development, industrialization, business development, and commercialization. This extensive experience has enabled him to collaborate with many of the leading global companies and organizations in the wind energy industry (OEMs, IPPs, ISPs, and more).
Ion Arocena de la Rúa
Ion Arocena de la Rúa is the Chief Technical Officer (CTO) at Nabrawind.
He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Public University of Navarra and began his career in the wind energy sector, leading innovative projects at M.Torres and Gamesa. Before his appointment as CTO at Nabrawind, he successfully led the Nabralift tower program for six years.
Ion has over 40 patent applications and was the winner of the 1st Gamesa Patent Contest in 2010. He has also been a member of teams recognized for R&D projects by JEC Composites and the Spanish Wind Energy Association (AEE).
He has served as an associate professor at the Public University of Navarra, lecturing on wind energy and energy market topics. In addition to his career in engineering, Ion holds a Master’s degree in Astrophysics.
Javier Iriarte Eleta
Javier Iriarte is the Operations Director at Nabrawind.
He joined the team in 2017 after spending 12 years at Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy (SGRE), where he began his professional career in 2005.
Javier holds a degree in Mechanical Industrial Engineering from UPNA, an MBA from the Chamber of Commerce of Pamplona, and a Master’s in Operations Management from OBS.
As a contributor to several patents, Javier is responsible for developing Nabrawind’s Supply Chain and overseeing the QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment), Process Engineering, and Tooling departments.
Maite Ibarrola Esain
Maite Ibarrola Esain is the People & Culture Manager at Nabrawind.
She holds a degree in Psychopedagogy from the University of Navarra and later completed a Master’s in Human Resources Management at Foro Europeo Business School (2005). She also earned a Master’s in Occupational Risk Prevention, specializing in Industrial Safety and Applied Psychosociology, at AIN (2008).
In 2006, Maite joined the HR Department of the industrial group MTorres Diseños Industriales S.A.U. as an HR Generalist Specialist, working across the Converting, Aeronautics, and Wind Energy Divisions. In 2015, she transitioned to the role of Global Mobility Specialist, where she focused on international personnel management and provided support to all the group’s international branches.
With over 16 years of professional experience, Maite joined Nabrawind in 2022 to lead the personnel management area and drive the development and nurturing of talent within the team.
