BladeRunner is a blade’s maintenance and installation system. It is based on the installation of small pieces of equipment on the hub of the wind turbine with which the blade is directly manipulated and ascends and descends in a vertical position.
The system is connected directly to the blade root inserts or T-Bolts, which avoids applying force on its aerodynamic surface, thus eliminating the risk of cracks appearing in the handling area.
