Nabralift installed in Le Portel: overcoming nearshore challenges for InnoVent
Nabrawind has successfully completed the installation of a Nabralift 3.0 tower at the nearshore site of Le Portel (France) for the client InnoVent. Located on an artificial breakwater, the project posed significant challenges due to complex soil conditions during the foundation works.
Thanks to our self-erecting Nabralift technology, we simplified the installation process and tackled these technical difficulties efficiently — while also achieving remarkable sustainability benefits:
- 30,000 kg of steel saved
- 400 m³ of concrete avoided
- Over 170,000 kg of CO₂ emissions reduced
The wind turbine installed is a Vensys 3.8-126 (Goldwind) with a hub height of 102 meters.
This project highlights how Nabralift technology not only enables construction in difficult environments, but also significantly reduces the environmental footprint of wind power deployment.
