MAKE Consulting highlights Nabrajoint and Nabralift as two of the technological solutions capable of revolutionising the wind power industry
“Nabrawind aims to address two of the largest wind turbine technology scaling issues”. This is how MAKE Consulting introduced Nabrajoint and Nabralift in its annual wind turbine report (Global Wind Turbine Trends 2016).
MAKE Consulting, a leading source of insight into the renewable energy industry, endorses in its report the two technological solutions developed by Nabrawind, identifying them as two technologies capable of revolutionising the wind power sector.
Specifically in reference to Nabrajoint, Make Consulting highlights “it presents an elegant compromise in joint cost and weight, and flexibility to existing manufacturing processes and field assembly processes”.
Regarding Nabralift, Make Consulting comments “it is an innovative approach to building taller towers […] eliminating the need for a tall crane at the site and avoiding any resonant frequencies much more cost effectively than a steel tubular tower”.
MAKE Consulting evaluates the two technological solutions from Nabrawind by means of a Harvey Balls diagrams. Both analyses obtain results significantly superior to that of the alternatives available in the market, therefore defining Nabrawind as “a promising technology start-up”.
