Nabrawind finalizes financing for the develpment of Nabrajoint and Nabralift
The awarding of grants from CDTI and the Government of Navarre complete the funding necessary for development of both projects toward preparing for entry into the market
With the announcement of funding grants from CDTI and the Government of Navarre, Nabrawind Technologies, S.L. (NBTECH) completes the budgets necessary for the development of both of the proposed projects, self erecting tower and joint for modular/segmented blades.
Along with the important contribution of funds by founding partners (Nabrawind , Barinaga & Alberdi S.A. and Sodena), these projects have achieved great success in public financing programs: H2020, Retos Colaboración and lastly funds granted from CDTI and Government of Navarre for R+D projects.
In addition, the necessary guarantees have been obtained through a pool of various tier 1 financial institutions, strengthening the position of the company and confidence in the business plan.
Therefore, NBTECH will cover the necessary funds required for entering the market in 2018. This is pending the attainment of respective IEC Certificates with DNV-GL by the end of 2017.
These latest contributions confirm the promising forecast for the introduction of Nabralift and Nabrajoint to the market. These solutions will enable the efficient increase of the size and rated power of onshore wind turbine generators, contributing in this way to a new increase in the already demonstrated economic competitiveness of wind energy.
